Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival
Everyone arrives to Costa Rica via Airport Juan Santamaría (SJO)
We need everyone there before 3pm. We will have 2 shuttles. 1 for an earlier group, 1 for a later group.
An option could be to come a day early if you don’t want to take a red eye
Travel to Hotel in Arenal (abt 3 hrs away). We will be staying at Mountain Paradise Hotel.
We’ll have dinner together at the Hotel

Mountain Paradise Hotel:
While sitting in the signature jacuzzi outside your casita or villa at Mountain Paradise you will be surrounded by beautiful gardens and birds in the midst of the rainforest. All rooms have individual terraces with rocking chairs make it easy to connect with nature while viewing Arenal Volcano. Thermal pool with wet bar and jacuzzi are are a favorite for guests of all ages, and strategically located so guests can relax in the heated water and never miss a magnificent view of the volcano. Music level is perfect and service is excellent. Spa at Mountain Paradise is a great spot to get pampered. Therapists offer massages sure to relieve stress and heighten your senses, getting you completely relaxed and unburdened. Every spot of the resort has been designed to give guests an optimal view of Arenal Volcano. The two restaurants at Mountain Paradise, the Ave de Paraiso restaurant and Arenal Koitá give guests the best view of Arenal Volcano available on the property. All Casita and Villas are equipped with jacuzzi on the terrace with a view of Arenal volcano. Maids fold room towels into charming, whimsical animals. Waterfall showers and garden touches in bathrooms and rocking chairs on each terrace for volcano viewing. ROOM AMENITIES: Each unit has two queen beds, private bath, satellite TV, A/C, coffeemaker, hair dryer, laptop safe, mini-fridge and personal care toiletries.
Day 2: Rafting
Start the day with a relaxing yoga class to help ground you for the day ahead
Breakfast (included every morning at both hotels)
Leave at 10:00am to do the White Water Rafting Tour (approx 3 hrs total with lunch included)
Enjoy the rest of the afternoon and evening relaxing at the hotel or go into the village
Dinner with group in-town
Day 3: Zipline
Our day starts early with pickup at 7:15 to go Canyoning.
We’ll drive through the forest in a 4x4 to heart of the jungle where we will repel down waterfalls

Then the second half of the day we will enjoy another adrenaline inducing tour of ziplines and the Tarzan swing
In the evening we’ll have another opportunity to go into town and explore the local “Sodas” (inexpensive and delicious eateries)
Day 4: Hot Pools
We’ll be picked up at 9am for an all day fun-filled adventure to end our time in Arenal, strong.
We’ll start the day with a 2-mile long hanging bridge hike through the forest
Take a refreshing bath in the stunning La Fortuna waterfall where we will also enjoy lunch
Go see the lava fields where the Volcano erupted back in 1968
Lastly we will end our day at the relaxing and magical Ectotermales Hot Pools where we will have our final dinner in Arenal
Day 5: Travel
Yoga in the morning

Pickup to leave Arenal is at 11am
Arrive at Manuel Antonio

We’ll do a process by the Ocean
Day 6: Boating
Yoga by the beach
Breakfast
Catamaran Tour starting at 1:20pm.
We’ll explore the surrounding coast seeking to spot wildlife, snorkeling, and paddle boarding
With the later tour we’ll be able to catch the sunset!
Day 7: Beach
Our full day begins at 7:20am to visit the Manuel Antonio National Park which was deemed a “must-see” while we are here
Here’s the info about this tour:
This national park is one of the most famous in our country due to its wide variety of flora and fauna. The park has 3 different trails that go from flat to very steep. On this tour a very knowledgeable nature guide will walk you through the Manuel Antonio National Park, explaining the mysteries of the rainforest. The trail you will take is flat and picturesque and loops through the park making your course about 2 miles long. Throughout your hike your guide will stop and teach you about the park’s natural history, which include exhaustive descriptions of animals and plants that can be observed during the hike. Along the way, you can take pictures or just admire the view. One of the highlights of this tour is that Manuel Antonio hosts 3 of the 4 existing tropical primates (monkeys) living in Costa Rica.
Half way through the hike, you will enjoy a leisure stop at the world famous Third Beach. Once there you can rest on the beach or play with the waves. This stop is about 20 minutes. Throughout the hike is common to see sloths, birds and reptiles as well as admire orchids, butterflies and tropical trees. Your guides are equipped with Pentax and Swarovski telescopes, so you can observe wildlife and take pictures from a different perspective. Once the tour is over transportation will be provided and you will be taken back to your hotel.
After the tour we will enjoy our Farewell Dinner followed by our closing process
Day 8: Depart
We’ll leave Manuel Antonio around 8am to make it back to SJO to catch our returning home flights
It’s a 3 hr drive back to SJO. They recommend being there 3 hrs before flight to make it through customs. So flights should be at 2pm or later.

A full refund can be provided up to 7 days after deposit is made
After 7 days, a partial refund can be provided (50% of the deposit)
After November 23rd, no refunds are available. Purchasing Travel Insurance is highly recommended.
The remaining balance is due 90 days from the retreat start date which is November 23rd, 2025
